About Cathy

Cathy Hartley has been training and working stock dogs for over 40 years. She works with all herding breeds, has competed in Open level with USBCHA trials, has competed in AHBA, AKC, ASCA herding trials. In addition, she has judged USBCHA, AKC, AHBA, ASCA, and CKC herding trials. Cathy has qualified for both the border collie sheep dog finals and nationals and cattle dog finals. She competed in the 2006 Cattle Dog Finals with Bel-Jac Swan “Duck.”
Cathy conducts stock dog training clinics in VA, NC, TN, and other states throughout the south east. Cathy and her daughter, Jessie, live and work on a farm in South Side VA, where they raise sheep, goats, and cattle. [email protected] |
