Neva

Talk about fancy, here she is. Neva is one of our home-raised granddaughters of Farnley Corker and out of a quarter pony mare. A young pony with lots of experience and exposure, Neva is well-broke to ride and drive and she has learned patience as an errand pony where waits tolerantly tied to a hitching post while her driver gets the shopping done. Neva’s been on trail rides with 600-700 head of horses and ponies and when asked to cross deep rivers, she did so with no hesitation. Neva is an easy pony to bring along and is not one to refuse anything that we’ve asked of her yet. Neva is well-started and ready to move on. What can this beauty do? The sky’s the limit: shows, trails, events, pleasure driving, 4-H, or just an all-around backyard pony. Neva’s a diamond in the rough, just ready for the final polish.

We bought 2 ponies from Mrs. Ava and can not begin to say enough good about this sweet lady! Her farm is such a special place and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. She is kind, honest, and makes you feel right at home the moment that you meet her. After searching and searching for horses for our daughters we ended up driving from outside of Memphis, TN to Mrs. Ava's farm in Virginia where we found the PERFECT ponies. I would encourage anyone looking to buy a horse to give her a call and head that way! It was well worth the drive for us! Thank you Mrs. Ava from the bottom of our hearts!

It's not easy to find a pony that you can trust with your child's safety, but we did, thanks to Whittling Ridge! Rowan wanted to ride Zeldie so bad when we got home, and we caved and let her. This pony acted like there was nothing strange about coming off a trailer in the dark and being ridden around horses she's never met on a property she's never set foot on!! Thank you so much!!!!
